Qanat Quartier is a Venice themed place on The Pearl Qatar. It's like an Italian village with colorful buildings, streets for walking, and canals. You can shop, eat at cafes, and enjoy the sea view. 

I really enjoyed visiting the Pearl. You will forget you are in the desert for a moment. Just beware it can be tricky navigating your way around and parking can be sparse. If you take an Uber from Doha, it will take about 30 minutes to get there.
